Derek Minor

Derek Johnson, Jr., a Dove Award-winning artist, has become a prominent figure in Christian rap, with multiple top-charting albums and two Grammy Awards for his production work with Lecrae. Originally from Michigan and later moving to Tennessee, Johnson pursued a degree in recording industry management at Middle Tennessee State University. His music has seen significant success, with one album topping the Christian chart and another peaking at number two on the gospel chart.

Soong Chan Rah

Soong Chan Rah is a distinguished professor, author, and speaker known for his work in intercultural studies and urban ministry. With a deep background in theology and a passion for social justice, Dr. Rah explores the intersections of faith, culture, and community, focusing on issues of race, ethnicity, and urban challenges. Beyond his academic work, Soong Chan Rah is dedicated to mentoring emerging leaders and advocating for systemic change in both church and society. He is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church, and a member of the Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education, American Academy of Religion, and American Society of Missiology.

Russell Jeung is a prominent scholar, activist, and professor of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University. His research focuses on Asian American identity, immigration, and social justice issues, with a particular emphasis on the experiences of Asian American communities in the U.S. As a co-founder of the Stop AAPI Hate coalition, Jeung has been a leading voice in combating anti-Asian racism and advocating for policy change. His work combines rigorous academic analysis with grassroots activism, reflecting his commitment to both scholarship and social impact.

Ekemini Uwan

Ekemini Uwan (pronounced Eh-keh-mi-knee Oo-wan) is a public theologian, international human rights activist, and co-author of the 2023 NAACP Image Award Nominated book Truth’s Table: Black Women’s Musings on Life, Love, and Liberation. She co-hosts the award-winning podcast Truth's Table and Get In The Word With Truth’s Table. Uwan is a reparations activist whose work spans the globe, as she has advocated for global reparations on behalf of Africans and African Descendants on the floor of the United Nations three times.
